Trad Music Trust on ITV!

In case you missed it, ITV Border's Lookaround programme featured Trad Music Trust following significant interest in the organisation's plans to develop a new arts centre and a year-round programme of music, dance, language, arts and crafts tuition, performances and exhibitions in Newton Stewart.

Make sure you catch Border News Lookaround at 6pm tonight (24th Jan) on ITV Border and a feature on Trad Music Trust, Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival and the charity's plans to develop a new arts centre in the former Royal Bank of Scotland building in Newton Stewart.

JustGiving fundraising campaign

Trad Music Trust have just launched a new fundraising campaign, via JustGiving, to raise funds to support initial renovation costs for the new arts centre project planned for Newton Stewart in early Spring. You can donate directly online or start your own fundraising page to support the project.

Fantastic line-up for Girvan 2019

Girvan’s guest list for 2019 is very typical of ‘Girvan’ and promises lots of great musical experiences from people firmly rooted in the tradition. It's a terrific festival, now into it's 44th year which is an outstanding achievement, and a line-up this year that has something for everyone.

Festival story reaches Daily Record

Delighted to discover that the wonderful Galloway News article this week about the festival's continued economic benefit in the region was featured on the Daily Record website. The festival had an economic impact of £130,320 in 2018 and is gearing up for it's 6th annual event this coming July.

The charity has created a viable, sustainable, event that continues to grow and develop, proudly celebrating the very best in traditional Scottish, Irish and World music.
