You will receive an e-ticket/s by e-mail which you should print and bring along, or bring on your mobile phone, for scanning at the festival box office or at any of the ticketed concert events. Valid tickets will be redeemed for a relevant wristband giving you access in/out of your chosen event/s.
These terms and conditions apply to any booking made through the Box Office via over the counter bookings, telephone bookings and online bookings.
It is your responsibility to check your tickets; mistakes or errors cannot always be rectified.
Refunds will not be made on tickets.
Our booking fee (£1.50) is included in all stated ticket prices. The booking fee is non-refundable.
Concessions apply to people aged under 25 or over 65. Only one concession is available per ticket and may not be used in conjunction with other offers, discounts or promotions. No retrospective concessions are available.
Babes in arms and children under 2 will be admitted free of charge only if they share a seat with you. Children under 12 will be admitted free of charge however they must be accompanied by at least one paying adult. Each child must be issued with a Child (Under 12) ticket from the Box Office.
Occasionally the Association may run offers/discounts. These cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/discount. Pre-purchased tickets will not be refunded retrospectively.
Any tickets won in competitions or promotions cannot be put up for re-sale or exchanged for another day or performance. Tickets if found to break this rule will be cancelled immediately.
If you require extra assistance or a table with wheelchair accessibility please let the Association know in advance, especially during busy performances.
The Association reserves the right to refuse admission.
No responsibility may be accepted for personal property.
Recording inside the venue by members of the audience is not permitted. The Association reserves the right for themselves or third parties to carry out general filming and recording in and around the venue.
You are not permitted to bring your own food and/or drink into the venue to consume on the premises apart from in the Scottish Highland Dancing Competition arena.
In the event of a cancellation of a performance or event, the Association shall have no further liability other than the face value of the show ticket. The booking fee is non-refundable.
Tickets are sold subject to the Association's right to alter the performance schedule or line-up should circumstances beyond our control make this unavoidable, without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
In the event of a change or cancellation to the performance schedule, ticket holders will be notified via the contact details left by the purchaser with the Association.
The Association is not liable for any changes or inaccuracies in these details which may prevent the ticket holder being contacted. In the case of a group booking, the organiser who purchased the tickets is deemed responsible for communicating any changes to the group.
The 6th annual Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival will take place over 12th-14th July 2019 and, after another outstanding programme of events in 2018 which saw us hosting Scottish Highland Dancing competitions and, as ever, some of the biggest names in traditional music, it looks set to be another packed programme and is really living up to it's reputation as one of the best rural arts festivals in Dumfries & Galloway.
