Rehearsal space for 12-17 year olds

If you're aged 12-17 and are looking for somewhere to rehearse or practice, or you just want to meet like-minded musicians and performing artists, then get along to The Vault Arts Centre on Wednesday's from 4pm-6pm and utilise the fantastic facilities available at the centre.

Music shop Christmas opening times

From now until Christmas the Music Shop at The Vault Arts Centre will be open from 1pm-5pm, Thursday-Saturday, stocking everything you need to make the musician/s in your family very happy this Christmas, plus everything you purchase supports music development in Dumfries & Galloway.

Digital sign goes live at The Vault

Very excited to finally get the digital display installed and live at The Vault Arts Centre. This should have happened months ago but global pandemics care not-a-jot for plans! The display will highlight what's on, new products & special offers, festival and Trad Music Trust news and TVYP updates.

Livestreaming from The Vault

Live events and music tutoring will soon be beaming direct to your home thanks to support from The Holywood Trust, Newton Stewart & District Round Table and D&G Council who have provided funding to install state-of-the-art livestreaming camera equipment at The Vault Arts Centre.

New logo for TVYP!

Check out the snazzy new logo for The Vault Youth Project (TVYP), designed by young people who attend the project and made digital with support from Trad Music Trust's design team at The Vault Arts Centre. We're aiming to get some t-shirts and hoodies done soon, so now's a great time to join!

Huge thanks to the Co-op & You

We would like to offer sincere gratitude and thanks to the Co-op, Newton Stewart, and to you, all the Co-op members who selected Trad Music Trust as their chosen local cause for 2019/2020. A total of £1,296.08 was raised to support programming at The Vault Arts Centre.

The Music Shop Opening Times

The Music Shop at The Vault Arts Centre will be open again on Friday 16th & Saturday 17th October from 1pm-5pm with acoustic and electric guitars, amplifiers, pedals, strings, capos, leads, picks and a wide range of accessories available. The bar is open until 10pm too, for drinks in the courtyard!

Nominations are now open for the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards 2020, the highly regarded annual awards which give recognition to excellence within Scotland’s thriving traditional musical culture. We need YOUR support for a nomination for Event or Community Project of the Year. Please vote x

Vote for The Vault Youth Project

£60,000 funding is up for grabs for youth led projects in Dumfries and Galloway and voting is open NOW until Friday 13th November! You must be between the ages of 12 - 25 to vote and you can only vote in 1 ward area. Your voice, your money, you decide!
