McCrossan & Taylor @ Acoustic Cafe

McCrossan and Taylor are a Moniaive based duo performing a varied repertoire of folk and country music including a few mid 20th century traditional American songs. You can catch McCrossan and Taylor from 1:30pm at The Acoustic Cafe on Saturday 8th July.

Quality Americana/Folk duo from South West Scotland with variety, melody and strong harmonies in songs ranging from the well known - through to the self penned. You'll find some humour in there too! You can catch Brownlee & Blantern from 12:30pm at The Acoustic Cafe on Saturday 8th July.

Dave Low is a Perth based blues guitarist and singer-songwriter who has made a name for himself throughout Perth as a talented musician and a champion of the earliest days of the blues. Dave will be performing from 2:15pm on Saturday 8th July at the Acoustic Cafe.

Rooms available at Flowerbank

If you're looking for B&B/Guest House accommodation for the festival there are still rooms available at Flowerbank Guest House, just a minutes' walk from the Creebridge House Hotel and the Festival Marquee.

Last pitch available at Strathleys

An additional pitch has become available for the festival weekend at Strathleys House Campsite. A family run site, Strathleys House is within walking distance of the town, venues and sessions.

Pipe Band in the Gardens

A regular feature at the festival, we're delighted that Rhins of Galloway Pipes & Drums can join us again to open the Saturday programme of events with a unique performance from 12noon at the Monument Gardens in the centre of Newton Stewart, overlooking the River Cree and Creebridge.

Highland dancing workshop

Learn the basics of Scottish Highland dancing with local dance group and dance instructor Paula Herries School of Highland Dancing. Open to all ages and experience, it's free to attend and we hope, with your new moves, you'll take to the floor at one of the events and impress us all!
