Kelton with it's creator, artist Trevor Leat

Trevor Leat's incredible wicker sculpture of a Belted Galloway will be appearing at Minnigaff Playing Fields on Saturday 9th July 2022 to accompany, and oversee, the Scottish Highland Dancing competition which kicks off from 11:15am.

We're absolutely thrilled to welcome Kelton to the festival, and it will be the perfect opportunity to have an up-close look at, and photograph (selfie!), this fantastic work of art.

There'll also be inflatables, face painting, stalls, piping, snacks and desserts and ice cream so please bring the whole family; entry is free and whilst you're there, make sure you cheer on all the local dancers who will be performing throughout the day.

The park is open from 11am, and competition begins at 11:15am.
