HUGE news for The Vault Arts Centre

Scottish band She Burns Red will perform at The Vault Arts Centre on Saturday 4th September

Yesterday's announcement by the Scottish Government, further easing restrictions and allowing venues to fully re-open, is fantastic news for The Vault Arts Centre as we prepare a packed Autumn programme of live events including rock/metal, folk, comedy, open mic, music shop, TVYP and much more!

We kick off on 14th August with Wigtownshire Celebrates PRIDE from 12noon-5pm featuring TikTok star Littlest Chicken, live music and dance performances, stalls and much more still to be announced!

Friday 20th August, 6pm-Midnight, sees the return of the popular Folk Club night featuring local and visiting musicians for a session of traditional Scottish and Irish tunes and songs, and plenty of other stuff in between!  The Folk Club takes place on the 2nd last Friday of every month.

We're then back with a real BANG on Saturday 4th September with the long awaited return of the hugely popular rock/metal nights at The Vault Arts Centre, with Scottish band She Burns Red performing with support from local blues/rock band The Dynamite Kings.

With the return of normal opening hours we're aiming to open the centre on a much more regular basis, from September, so please stay tuned for details of that, the exciting new Autumn programme which will detail all events and opening times over September-November and the launch of The Vault Arts Centre's new website which will feature regular news and events updates, bar opening times, venue hire opportunities, music tutoring and lots more in the pipeline that we know you're going to love.

After all this time, we can't wait to see you there!

Outstanding sponsorship support from Five Kingdoms Brewery

Serving local produce ensures that the project supports local businesses and the local community. A huge favourite are the beers from Five Kingdoms Brewery which are brewed in Isle of Whithorn. We are hugely grateful to Alastair and his team for their very generous support for this year's festival.

Workshops at this year's festival

With so many outstanding musicians in Newton Stewart this weekend it would be foolish not to take full advantage, and we've done just that with a superb programme of traditional music workshops which are included as part of the Weekend Pass ticket, £10 per adult or £Free for under 25s.
