Livestreaming direct from The Vault Arts Centre

Live events and music tutoring will soon be beaming direct to your home thanks to support from The Holywood Trust, Newton Stewart & District Round Table and D&G Council who have provided funding to install state-of-the-art livestreaming camera equipment at The Vault Arts Centre.

The equipment, which will be made available to local musicians, bands and performing artists as well as being readily available for members of TVYP (The Vault Youth Project), will provide facilities not only to livestream events but also for recording demo/promo videos and delivering 1-to-1 and groupwork video-conferenced music tutoring.

Installation and testing will be taking place over the next few weeks and, from there, we will be announcing a programe of virtual events which, it is hoped, will provide some relief over the Winter nights ahead.

We'll also be letting you know how and when you can utilise the equipment for your own projects, including availability for TVYP members.

Outstanding sponsorship support from Five Kingdoms Brewery

Serving local produce ensures that the project supports local businesses and the local community. A huge favourite are the beers from Five Kingdoms Brewery which are brewed in Isle of Whithorn. We are hugely grateful to Alastair and his team for their very generous support for this year's festival.

Workshops at this year's festival

With so many outstanding musicians in Newton Stewart this weekend it would be foolish not to take full advantage, and we've done just that with a superb programme of traditional music workshops which are included as part of the Weekend Pass ticket, £10 per adult or £Free for under 25s.
