Unbelievable Festival Weekend

Dougie MacLean performing at Newton Stewart Cinema on Sunday 14th July 2019

The dust has finally settled on what was, quite simply, the best weekend of live music & dance that we've ever experienced at the festival. From a packed opening night, the undeniable passion and emotion at the McMillan Hall and Dougie MacLean's wonderful finale, it was unforgettable!

As ever, we escaped for a week's rest at the nearby Balloch O Dee campsite directly after the event but we're back in the new offices at The Vault Arts Centre now and we'll be spending the next few weeks bringing you all the stories, gossip, photographs and more from an absolutely brilliant weekend at Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival.

A huge thank you to all of our performing artists, crew, volunteers and staff, without whom there would be no event - and an extra special thank you to you; the outstanding, record breaking, audiences who attended the festival over the 3 days.

Still buzzing! :)
