Superb young dancer Katy McClymont performing for this year's online festival

A huge thank you to those of you who have donated so far to support this year's online version of Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival. If you're one of the 448 people who have viewed the online concert this year, and you haven't yet donated, here's how you do it.

We've extended the deadline for fundraising for this campaign on the JustGiving website to give those who have watched the film but have yet to donate a bit more time to get that completed or, if you haven't yet seen this year's online version of the festival, simply follow the instructions below and you'll enjoy performances from Karen-Marie Keenan, students from the Paula Herries School of Dance, Ali Levack, Cameron Nixon, Sarah Markey Band, Damien O'Kane & Ron Block Band, Grainne Brady & Ulaid.

Simply click the 'Donate at JustGiving' button below to make a donation of your choice and help support the musicians, dancers and behind the scenes staff and volunteers who worked so hard to bring you this online version of the festival during lockdown.  You'll also be supporting nest year's festival and the ongoing work of the Trad Music Trust charity.

Outstanding sponsorship support from Five Kingdoms Brewery

Serving local produce ensures that the project supports local businesses and the local community. A huge favourite are the beers from Five Kingdoms Brewery which are brewed in Isle of Whithorn. We are hugely grateful to Alastair and his team for their very generous support for this year's festival.

Workshops at this year's festival

With so many outstanding musicians in Newton Stewart this weekend it would be foolish not to take full advantage, and we've done just that with a superb programme of traditional music workshops which are included as part of the Weekend Pass ticket, £10 per adult or £Free for under 25s.
