Year of Young People: Young People's Choices Shortlist

We need YOUR vote to help us receive funding from Young People's Choices. From 11th December young people who have a young scot card will get to vote on their preferred projects who will receive their funding in early January.

Over the last month, young people and organisations have submitted a wide range of project ideas for new and exciting events and activities for young people that will be delivered during the Year of Young People in 2018, and some of these projects will be allocated a share of the £50,000 available!

As you know, Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival has delivered free workshops for under 25's every year giving young people the chance to be taught by some of the leading names in traditional music.  We want to continue that in 2018.

We're also seeking funding support for the new Scottish Highland Dancing competitions which, if successful, we will be able to offer free of charge in 2018.

We'd really appreciate your support and it would be fantastic for Newton Stewart & Minnigaff if we could secure the funding we need to deliver these projects.
