An evening of music at Barr Village Hall

Barr Community Association presents an evening of music to celebrate St. Andrew's with The Barr Stools and our very own Nathon & Rhona Jones this coming Saturday 25th November, 8pm-Midnight, at Barr Village Hall in aid of Barr Primary School.

Really looking forward to a night of music with everyone at Barr Village Hall this weekend.

As well as a great night of music there'll also be a grand raffle and a fabulous special raffle in addition to the main one...£1 per ticket for a chance to win a Champagne Afternoon Tea for two at Trump Turnberry.

Tickets cost £6.00, with a light supper included, and can be booked by calling Elaine on 01465 861 189 or Maggie on 01465 861 062 or you can purchase tickets in Barr Stores.  There's also free minibus transport available on routes between Girvan and Barr (first come, first served).  Oh, and it's BYOB!

Hope to see you all there!

Outstanding sponsorship support from Five Kingdoms Brewery

Serving local produce ensures that the project supports local businesses and the local community. A huge favourite are the beers from Five Kingdoms Brewery which are brewed in Isle of Whithorn. We are hugely grateful to Alastair and his team for their very generous support for this year's festival.

Workshops at this year's festival

With so many outstanding musicians in Newton Stewart this weekend it would be foolish not to take full advantage, and we've done just that with a superb programme of traditional music workshops which are included as part of the Weekend Pass ticket, £10 per adult or £Free for under 25s.
