Quiet, The Art + The Screaming Love Collective

Quiet, the Art are a duo from Edinburgh, Scotland, creating an exciting take on post-rock and shoegaze that the Heard not Herd blog has described as 'impossible to pigeonhole'. Support from The Screaming Love Collective.

Chris (guitars, vocals) and Mark (drums, keys, vocals) have been making music together since 2019 with nods to an eclectic mix of influences including GYBE!, Interpol, Doves, pg.lost and RedSparowes.

With 6 singles and a successful run of live shows under their belt in 2024, the band arenow looking to take their sound on the road around UK venues and beyond.

"'Ghostly' is quite simply a lovely piece of art...a song you need to make proper space and time for; a song which reminds you of the importance of taking a breath." Music Observer blog

"...fantastic...it’s difficult to liken this band to anyone else because they really do have such a unique sound." Discovery Music Scotland

The Screaming Love Collective is the brain child of Bryn Thorburn and with an interest in repetition and electronic music use found sounds and samples to create experimental dance tracks . The Screaming Love Collective have played both venue gigs and  festival DJ sets including Solfest and released several albums on Manchester based German Shepherd Records and more recently formed their own Record label Head Space Records.
