Join local musicians Aaron & Nathon Jones for a live stream direct from Newton Stewart & Creetown, to raise funds for traditional music & dance events in South West Scotland that have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

With many events having to be cancelled this year, venues closed for the foreseeable future and performing artists and musicians unable to work it is now, more than ever, that traditional music and dance needs your support.

We are hosting two live streaming concerts to raise funds for the following events and organisations that have suffered as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic to hopefully give them a cash boost heading into 2021 and to show solidarity with organisations and events that work to encourage, develop, support and promote traditional music & dance in South West Scotland.

6th annual music festival

The 6th annual Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival will take place over 12th-14th July 2019 and, after another outstanding programme of events in 2018 which saw us hosting Scottish Highland Dancing competitions and, as ever, some of the biggest names in traditional music, it looks set to be another packed programme and is really living up to it's reputation as one of the best rural arts festivals in Dumfries & Galloway.
