Anchor Lane

Make sure you don't miss the inaugural rock night at The Vault Arts Centre, Newton Stewart, this Saturday 5th October featuring Glasgow band, the outstanding, Anchor Lane with support from The Dynamite Kings. Doors from 7:00pm and, due to a monumental cock-up, it's BYOB so a cheap night too! Boss!

We are delighted to have two excellent bands playing at the first night of many nights to come! The night will be professionally recorded by Graham Gebs Gebbie, who is well respected in the rock and metal community of Britain for recording live events. #heavierthanmetal will provide the music between acts.

Superb night at The Vault

Huge thanks to Connor Clark & The Matador Kings and the brilliant Kasama for a truly memorable gig at The Vault Arts Centre on Saturday night. Absolutely class performances from both bands and an unforgettable night of live music. Looking forward to round 2 in early 2020!

6th annual music festival

The 6th annual Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival will take place over 12th-14th July 2019 and, after another outstanding programme of events in 2018 which saw us hosting Scottish Highland Dancing competitions and, as ever, some of the biggest names in traditional music, it looks set to be another packed programme and is really living up to it's reputation as one of the best rural arts festivals in Dumfries & Galloway.
