A regular feature at the festival, we're delighted that Rhins of Galloway Pipes & Drums can join us again to open the Saturday programme of events with a unique performance from 12noon at the Monument Gardens in the centre of Newton Stewart, overlooking the River Cree and Creebridge.
They'll then move over to the Creebridge House Hotel, just over the bridge, to perform with local dance group Paula Herries School of Highland Dancing and will also be offering a free piping workshop.Pipe Band Performance
6 concerts, 7 workshops, sessions all over the place all weekend, beautiful sunshine, fabulous musicians...2017 was our best year yet with lots of new faces and, pleasingly, musicians as well as our regular visitors who we love to see back every year. We already have some announcements for 2018 which we'll be making in due course plus there'll be lots of new additions to the website over the coming months so please stay tuned for all the latest.
