Catch exciting young fiddle player and BBC Radio Scotland's Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2017, Charlie Stewart, accompanied by the fantastic Becky Hill on harp who open our Saturday night finale concert in style.
BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award semi-finalists Becky Hill and Charlie Stewart are traditional musicians studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Their music is a mix of Traditional, contemporary and original material in arrangements that feature rich harmonies and exciting new textures.
As well as Scottish harp Becky also studies piano and has a keen interest in composing and arranging for a variety of instruments.
Charlie, who recently gained the title of Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2017, also studies Jazz Bass at the RCS, and can be found performing with bands such as 'Dosca', 'Sketch', 'Snuffbox' and 'Ross Miller and Charlie Stewart'.

6 concerts, 7 workshops, sessions all over the place all weekend, beautiful sunshine, fabulous musicians...2017 was our best year yet with lots of new faces and, pleasingly, musicians as well as our regular visitors who we love to see back every year.
